We opened Mount Vengeance today to a small group of people. This was a trial run to see how well it would play. Because it was a small group the first scenario began with two snipers hidden in the playing area. Then the team of six others was given a latitude and longitude for two different objectives. They had to find these objectives and then return them to the safe zone without being picked off by the snipers. Each objective had a different cipher key that unlocked codes which revealed the names and location of each sniper. Example: name: Redfish, location: lat and lon”.
Finding the first objective was pretty easy to find with no sniper issues. But finding the second objective presented a much greater challenge. As we got closer the second objective I was shot in the butt. I called hit and called for a medic. All total I was hit 4 times and three or four of the other team members were hit at least 2 times. We finally found our objective and then headed back for the safe zone encountering fire from the snipers most of way back.
After we arrived at the safe zone we broke the code and headed back in to hunt and kill the snipers. After a huge fire fight and loosing a few of our team mates we eventually achieved our mission killing both snipers.
The game lasted 2 hours
This was a great game and I will be using this scenario again.
