How I Got Started In Airsoft

Why I began to airsoft?

Making a very long story short.

My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2009. With the stress of dealing with that, working all the time, NEVER spending time with my children, and being pulled in 10 different directions 24 hours a day I got very sick. In 2011 my doctor told me that if I didn’t loose weight and find a way to lower my stress I would die. I had forgotten how to live.

Some people said that I should get a motorcycle others said fishing, going to the gym and so on. The motorcycle did not allow me to spend time with my boys. Fishing did not provide any sort of cardio, and going to the gym is something that I love to do but again couldn’t take the boys.

One day while visiting a friend, his boys brought out an AK 47 airsoft gun. This sparked my younger son’s interest, and asked if he could get an airsoft gun. We decided to shop around. As we shopped I found myself enjoying my time with both of my boys. We bought three guns and began our journey.

I am loosing weight, spending time with my boys, and no more stress.
